Recording, consent, and responsible use
Recording rules differ by location and situation. You are responsible for using voice features lawfully.
Before recording
Tell participants clearly that recording or transcription will begin and obtain every consent required by applicable law or policy.
During a session
Keep the recording indicator visible and stop immediately if consent is withdrawn or recording is inappropriate.
Review important output
Transcription and translation can contain errors. Verify decisions, names, numbers, and high-impact information.
